(October 16, 2023) David McGuire, based in Sighișoara, Romania encourages leaders in their calling, and Christians to operate the 1 Corinthians 12 supernational gifts of the Spirit, boldly engage in spiritual warfare, and to share the gospel message and love of Jesus. He also builds homes for the disenfranchised, especially the local gypsy community.

David, originally from England, and Rodica, his Romanian wife, reach many children, many of whom have never heard of Jesus, through their cartoon DVDs outreaches. David has been called The Missionary With The Camera. He often conveys update reports to readers with his camera, not words! Here he shares some recent summer ministry experiences, including a  reminder that Romanian Christians and churches are still boldly assisting troubled Ukrainians with needed supplies.

This has been a very full summer with organising conferences in Romania and Ukraine on subjects of counselling, healing evangelism, prophetic and general equipping, such as…

• Outreaching with Bible school for kids.
• Assisting building teams and teams of spiritual input to Ukraine.
• A working holiday with four families with YWAM Constanta, on the shores of the Black Sea, southeastern Romania.
• We were also able to engage in outreach ministry in the Muslim area of Constanta.
• Local outreaches and house building with refugee work to Ukraine with food and clothing. It has been very rewarding and tiring, praise the Lord. People coming to Jesus and getting healed and practical needs met working in unity with branches of the body of Christ, such an honour and blessing.

Thank you for praying and supporting much of all that happens. 

1) Caring for Ukrainians
Thoughtful, caring teams here are continuing to transport food to Ukraine, and to Ukrainian refugees here in Romania assisting them also.

2) Moldova mission
Moldova is a landlocked Eastern European country and former Soviet republic, with varied terrain including forests, rocky hills, north-east of Romania enroute to Ukraine.

3) Welcomed ministry by USA organisations/ministries

As mentioned above, families engaged in a working/holiday for Constanta’s YWAM base as in left photo. Right photo shows a relaxing moment with Pastor Relu, Pastor Hodu, myself and our families.
